Gnome Think Spring

Hi folks! Here is a spring birthday card I made for a loved one of mine.  I coloured the little gnome from Gnome Think Spring with a mix of Copic markers and Prismacolour pencils.   I just love the sheet of daisies from the Farmhouse Paper Pack!  The die cut I used for the main image panel was Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles which is actually on a clearance sale as of this post (Feb 21, 2023) so get it while you can! It's really handy to have and it adds a cute little detail with the zig zag stitching.

Gnome Friends

I made this for a bunny loving person and I hope they're going to love it! How I love that background paper, OH it's yummy, and from such a beautiful yummy paper pack - Blissful Blues! I think it's my new favourite paper pack from Whimsy at the moment. ! I thought the combination of blues and orange tones would make the main image really stand out.
I coloured it with Copics and put a closeup here so you can see what I did.
I used a little tab from the Slimline Envelope Die for the "hoppy birthday", and the curved banner that has "many hoppy returns stamped on it is from the Slimline Fancy Frame Die.  The sentiments are from the Bunny Birthday clear stamp set.

Jungle Birthday (again!)

I just made this for a friend and do I ever love how it turned out!  I kept the background on the main panel white to bring your focus to the ellie with his colourful party hat and flag.  This little guy is one of four jungle characters in the Jungle Birthday set.  I love how the image is meant to be a neutral colour, and so you can really dress up the rest of the card with some bright colours; And the sheet from the Tropical Flowers paper pack was the perfect way to do just that!
The sentiment from Gnome Birthdays was a great way to add some humour, I thought, and so did the recipient, cuz it made her giggle!

I coloured the ellie with Copic markers.  Here is your close-up:

Monster Moods

Omygosh I have so much fun with monster stamps!! You can make the cutest whimsical cards with these little monsters (even if I do say so myself, heheh!)!  I wanted the bright colours to really stand out so I fussy cut them and placed them against a white card - always nice for a change, to forego layering. I just added the one strip layer, which I had made a while ago; I had made a whole sheet of it with alcohol inks of various colours, and this was the leftover piece.  I thought it was perfect to tie all these colours together and give the card a unified look.
I coloured these guys with Copic markers and let myself go a little cray-cray with colour choices, heheh!
The monsters all came from one set, Monster Moods, and the stamped sentiment and balloon came from two other sets listed below.  I listed the links and if you follow them to make a purchase, I do get compensated, so thank you very, very much if that is you! Of course I get compensated if you purchase any of my illustrated stamp sets too, so again, thank you for your support! It helps keep me drawing new images for you to play with too!
Thanks for looking today!

Doggie Naughty 2

I could not resist doing a cute image of a dog running with toilet paper! I coloured him up with Copic markers.
Who hasn't seen a pet (cat or dog for that matter) playing with a toilet paper roll!

The paper from the Blissful Blues paper pack made this card super easy to put together.  I simply coloured the doggie and toilet paper, fussy cut, then pasted him down onto the paper that gives the appearance of a fence.  I just love that shade of blue - it is even more stunning in real life!
As always, I get compensated if you follow the links on my blog to make a purchase at Whimsy Stamps, so thank you if that's you! Of course I get even more compensation if you purchase an image from my line of stamps there, so even more thanks for that too, as it really helps me to keep creating more images! Thank you for visiting my blog!

Doggie Naughty!

I was late getting a few birthday cards out, but my recipients didn't seem to mind when I presented them with this cute, innocent little doggie scene card!  I had a great time making the forest background with one of the dogs from my latest Doggie Naughty clear stamp set!  I also used some background trees from the older and discontinued Gnome Build a Scene Forest stamp set from a few years ago.  Usually grass is drawn in mostly vertical lines.  But I used these sweeping horizontal strokes with the alcohol markers, and it actually works really well to give the appearance if a soft grassy area.  Thank you and a shout out to Amy Young of Sweet November Stamps fame, for inspiring this type of treatment for grassy hills!
I used the Quick Strips die set to frame a couple of sentiments for the front of the card.  It was a hit!
I do get compensated when you follow the links to make a purchase at Whimsy Stamps, so thank you in advance for your support that allows me to keep drawing new images to share!
