Bear Slides

Had SO much fun doing this Sliding Bear slider card! Sliding Bear is a digital image at Whimsy Stamps.  I also used an older retired red rubber image to stamp the gifts.  The icebergs were created by hand for this card.  I did the blue sky using some Distress Oxide blues as well as Whisper White ink for the clouds.  The water was a fun project.  I used various blue and green Distress Oxide inks, sprinkled with water drops, and then let it dry.  After I cut out the wave panels, I used a white gel pen to make a sort of ocean foam. Love love love the Whimsy dies I used, which were:

Dinosaur Friends

Hi Peeps! I needed a family simple card this time, so I went with Dinosaur Friends, my clear set at Whimsy stamps.  I also used a hat and balloon from another set, Hay Horsey, which is red rubber.  The blue paper background is from my Rustic Wood and Brick digital paper pack.  The doodles were hand done after all the stamping and colouring.  And I coloured the images using Copic markers.  The fun part was doing the scales after the image was completely coloured - using the blender pen - to lift off colour, and cause the dark ring around each dot. So easy to do! Here is your close-up:
Thanks so much for looking at my art work today!
