Doggie Birthday Party 2

Made this one for someone who has a little white dog.  She loved it!  It's one of the dogs from the Doggie Birthday Party 2 set, new at Whimsy Stamps! I love the "steak" as "cake", as I think most dogs would prefer it, don't you?  I coloured the images using Copic markers, and framed it using their Notched Squares die set, which adds some lovely details. The background turquoise paper I am proud to say I made myself using Oxide inks.  Man, I love blending those! And the extra marks on it are from water drips, then the white dots were made using a white gel pen. Links are all below:

Babies From Above

Hi! Here's a card made for my grand-daughter who turned one!  I used the Babies From Above set - doesn't have to be just for newborns, as this little one is demonstrating. ;-) I coloured her with Copics and fussy cut the image out.  The pink paper is a sheet from Blurry Flurries (there's a few sheets in there that I have been using outside of the winter season because they work so well for anytime!). I used the Peekaboo Window 4 die, which makes a card come together super quickly (love that!) and Birthday Word and Shadow die (as well as an older numbers die set that has been discontinued, boo!). Monsters!!!

I had so much fun creating these monsters for folks to use!  You can just let your imagination go wild when making up creatures from your head!  It is equally fun to colour them, because you can't go wrong!  I used monsters from two different sets, Monster Birthday and Monster Moods. I coloured these guys with Copics, and made the background blue panels from Oxide inks (love those inks!). Closeups and links below.  Thanks for looking! Links below:

Gnomes At The Beach!

Made this "anytime" card for my hubby Mike!  He loved it!  This image is from the Gnomes At The Beach clear set at Whimsy Stamps, and it pairs brilliantly (I think!) with a sheet from the Mermaid 6x6 Paper pack also from Whimsy Stamps! I love their papers because after I get finished colouring the main image, I sometimes want to be done with the colouring and move on to making the card.  Not all the time, I do love colouring scenes too, but sometimes it's fun to have the perfect matching paper to make up a quick(er) card.
I coloured the image with Copic markers, and went over parts of it with coloured pencil.  You can only get those fine lines with Copics if the markers are older and the tips are actually getting worn down, or if you've got a super-power and can hold a newer marker tip just above the paper and gently "kiss" the page with a sweeping motion (not for the faint of heart, lol!).  At any rate, I do love to finish off some details sometimes using coloured pencils.  After that I fussy cut the images out (I cut the fringe off the guy gnome's towel too and drew it back in after I pasted the image down).  Thanks for looking, and links are all below:

Ellie Jungle Bell Trio; Winter Birthday card

They are an unlikely trio, but why not?!  We are all different (and all so much alike!). Made this for a winter birthday.  I used Ellie Jungle Bell Trio (can be found as a digital or a rubber cling stamp at Whimsy).  The paper and dies made this card really fast to put together (once I had the image coloured, that is, lol!).
Thanks for visiting!!

Gnome Gardener

Here's a cute Gardener Gnome from the Gnome Gardeners set at Whimsy! For my flower-lovin' daughter who also loves brown and neutrals.  Thought this combined the best of these elements together.  Coloured the gnome using Copic markers.  Colouring is so easy when it's a wee gnome, not a whole lot to colour, but just enough that you can make the image really pop off the page.  Used the gorgeous Fabulous Florals paper pack and Notched Squares Die set from Whimsy as well.  Links below, thanks for looking!
