This little panda from the new Get Well Panda set is giving out birthday hugs! Yes, there are a couple of the pandas in the set that are versatile enough to use for other occasions, and I wanted to send this hug to a special friend for their birthday!
I coloured the bear with alcohol markers (Copics) and I used the oh-so-convenient NoFuss masks from Whimsy Stamps to mask it up so that I could safely colour the background. This card also features a sneak peek of a new stencil coming soon to Whimsy, of the long grasses!
I also love the gorgeous slimline stencil that really helps to frame the card in such a pretty way.
I sponged the background in with Distress Oxide Inks - no colouring with markers, so it was very fast and fairly easy to do!
