I used my new digi image, "Mother's Heart", and coloured it with the following Copics:
Mother's hands: E000, 00, 02, V20, 22, R02, 21
Nail polish: RV10, 11, 34, Blender
Baby's feet: RV10, 11, V91, V20, 22
Blanket: G20, 24, 29, 82, 46, 94
"Mother's Heart" also comes with a bonus file of three Mother's Day sentiments, including the one I used on this card.
I tried to make a flower as influenced by sweet Jerri Kay - you MUST go see her blog and the many flowers she makes by hand - be prepared to have your jaw drop - but I have yet to approach her league. I think it looks all right though (its the pink one that looks like a carnation). I used the Spellbinders Rose Creations die for it.
Anyway, thanks for popping by, and I hope all you card makers will join the Crafting By Designs Mother's Day challenge!
Crissy this is such a gorgeous card!! All the elements and colors you chose are perfect. Thanks so much for joining us as a Guest Designer at Crafting by Designs!! Hugs, Doris :)

Beautiful card and tribute to your mom. Congratulations on your guest designer position!
ReplyDeleteThis is one amazing card Crissy! The dimension in your shading of the blankie is unreal! You must be a painter - no? You have such a brilliant understanding of light reflection. The feet as well....just a stellar card!!!! Best, Samara xox
ReplyDeleteCrissy, your painting is absolutely fabulous .. . . oh my word, the babies' feet are just amazing! Thank you so much my dear friend for the link to my blog, it's much appreciated! I apologize for not visiting sooner. My sons arrived home on the 7th of May, we left for our cruise on the 8th and returned on the 18. Then a trip up to my parents. Stephen returned home and Daniel leaves tomorrow. We also went the to beach for 4 days and returned this past Monday . . . it has been non-stop. So here I am, a few weeks late viewing this gorgeous, gorgeous design. I'm so proud of you girl!
