Noah's Ark

This particular Noah's Ark I did is selling as a digi image at Whimsy and you can find it HERE.  I really enjoyed colouring it with Copics, especially doing the water and sky.   I don't have the colour list for you as I did this ages ago and who knows where I stored it (bah, sorry!) But I do know that I experimented a lot with greys in the shadows.  I used cool greys.  I like how it worked and I will be using grey a lot more I think. It brings a lot of depth to a picture.  I'm really happy with how it worked on the monkey holding the umbrella.  :-)
Thanks for stopping by to have a peek today!

  1. Lovely!! Like your image and of course the coloring...your use of the tag and the swirl punch echo the water...neat!

  2. Wow this is gorgeous! Love the water ... actually I love all of it ... but my eye keeps getting drawn to the water and also the excellent shadow from the umbrella.

  3. So cute!! And wowzers on the coloring!! Amazing and the way you shadowed under the monkeys umbrella is brilliant! I don't think I would've thought to do that =)

  4. Hey gorgeous lady WOWZERS this is just stunning and as you know i love ellies, i am pants at wood though, but now i wish i had gotten this one, makes me smile the way the little momkey is holding on the the trunk, gorgeous colours sweetie and i love the sentiment shape too, huggles love Pops x x x

  5. Ohhhh this is AMAZING -- just when I think I've got a handle on shadows & shading, you come up with something like this & I realize I still have a lot to learn! I absolutely love this, you did a fantastic job with those shadows -- & I love that scroll border. Is that an EK Success punch? I think I had that one in my hand to buy & for some reason I put it back. Tsk -- clearly I made a bad decision! Thanks for sharing with us! Have a super Sunday!

  6. What a beautiful card Crissy.
