Noah's Ark

This particular Noah's Ark I did is selling as a digi image at Whimsy and you can find it HERE.  I really enjoyed colouring it with Copics, especially doing the water and sky.   I don't have the colour list for you as I did this ages ago and who knows where I stored it (bah, sorry!) But I do know that I experimented a lot with greys in the shadows.  I used cool greys.  I like how it worked and I will be using grey a lot more I think. It brings a lot of depth to a picture.  I'm really happy with how it worked on the monkey holding the umbrella.  :-)
Thanks for stopping by to have a peek today!

  2. Wow this is gorgeous! Love the water ... actually I love all of it ... but my eye keeps getting drawn to the water and also the excellent shadow from the umbrella.

  4. Ohhhh this is AMAZING -- just when I think I've got a handle on shadows & shading, you come up with something like this & I realize I still have a lot to learn! I absolutely love this, you did a fantastic job with those shadows -- & I love that scroll border. Is that an EK Success punch? I think I had that one in my hand to buy & for some reason I put it back. Tsk -- clearly I made a bad decision! Thanks for sharing with us! Have a super Sunday!
